Quick & Easy Test Strips for FROG @ease with SmartChlor
The FROG @ease Sanitizing System for Swim Spas, the first and only System of its kind, naturally uses unique test strips. FROG @ease Test Strips let you know when your SmartChlor Cartridge is empty. You won't have to bother with chlorine level measurements because it self-regulates at a consistent level every time. Instead, the single color on the bottle tells you whether your cartridge is in good condition or if it's time for a replacement.
In 2 seconds, you can know precisely whether your pH, Total Alkalinity and Total Hardness are balanced, plus whether or not SmartChlor needs replacing. Simply dip the FROG @ease Test Strip into the water, remove with the pads facing up and shake once to remove the water on the FROG Test Strips. Then hold it up next to the color chart on the back of the bottle to compare colors.

FAQ
Our expert staff answers customer's most asked questions.
What is better for my pool and my body: Salt Chlorinator or Chlorine Chemicals?
Opting for a salt chlorinator is a superior choice for both your pool and skin. In addition to cost savings on chemicals, it requires minimal maintenance with a 5-7 year replacement cycle on salt cells. Most salt cells have an operating life of 10,000 hours. Proper maintenance will help extend the life cycle of salt cells. Refer to your owner's manual for cleaning instructions and tips on cleaning Pentair salt cells and products that help keep all salt cells cleaner. My Pool water gets too hot in the summer to enjoy it. What can I cool it down with?
Many heat pumps now come with a option to cool the water. Click here to view our heat pumps with this option.
What are the ideal chemical ranges for my pool?
Achieving a balanced pool involves maintaining a pH range of 7.2–7.8, total alkalinity between 80–120 ppm, calcium hardness at 180–220 ppm, and cyanuric acid (stabilizer) within 30–50 ppm. Chlorine levels should consistently fall within the 1–3 ppm range, by may need to be increased as CYA levels go above 60 PPM.
