- Reinforced polyester pleated media
- Reusable: hose off and reinstall rather than replace each season

FAQ
Our expert staff answers customer's most asked questions.
Is it better to replace just one cartridge or the full inner and outer set?
For System 3–style filters, replacing the full inner and outer set is always recommended. Mixing old and new cartridges can cause uneven filtration, pressure imbalance, and faster wear on the new cartridge.
What are the signs that my pool filter cartridges need to be replaced?
Common signs include rising filter pressure shortly after cleaning, cloudy or dull water, reduced circulation, and cartridges that appear frayed, flattened, or brittle.
How frequently should I clean my filter cartridges?
The cleaning frequency is contingent on your filter's size. As a general guideline, initiate the cleaning process when the filter pressure exceeds the initial pressure by 10 psi. This ensures optimal filtration efficiency.
