I have an older Shasta pool so I am glad I can at least get replacement parts but I had to drive a long ways to get them. The people at TSpoolsupply were very helpful and had my parts the morning I ordered them. The parts were actually for a newer model of the pop up rotation device and but I was able to take the new gears and combine them with the old parts and keep my pool working. It would have been nice to know that because I had to assemble it more than once to notice some of the parts were different.

Ordered a Hayward variable speed Omni pool pump to replace one which went out. Picked it up about 24 hours after order was placed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price and product was of the quality of the product was what I hoped for. The only drawback to this was having to pick it up in a fairly narrow window. Thought this motivated me to get it done earlier. In hindsight, picking it up one day and installing the next was a better plan than trying to install same day. It is very hot here. Picking it up, moving it to the location, unboxing, and reading the installation manual was accomplished early the first day. This particular pump has controls which although the instruction were clear, the existing control board had numbering sequence opposite of what was expected and it turns out the original pump was installed without gaskets. The pump came with new control wiring so I replaced. So after finding leaks (before energizing) and realizing there were rubber gaskets with the new pump it took 4 hours, pump was successfully installed next day. No more worry about a stagnant pool. Manual states this installation is to be by a trained professional. This type of project was not for the unskilled as there are a variety of tools necessary as well as relatively complicated control and 240V wiring. Including the very important bonding wiring. I was comfortable due to my skill levels to do this installation, but I believe most folks will want to hire a trained professional.
