Ocean Blue 195096 Automatic Pool Cover Pump — 2400 GPH, 30' Cord
Ocean Blue 195096 Automatic Pool Cover Pump — 2400 GPH, 30' Cord
Did the last rainstorm leave a foot of water sitting on your pool cover? The Ocean Blue 195096 is an automatic submersible cover pump built for the homeowners who get tired of going outside in the dark to start a manual pump. The pump's 2400 gallons per hour (GPH) clears that foot of water faster than the 350 GPH and 800 GPH models in the Ocean Blue line. The 195096 comes with a 30 foot cord, which gives you more reach to a GFCI outlet than the 25 foot cord on the smaller pumps. So, plan your outlet placement before winter sets in.
What makes the 2400 GPH version different from the rest of the Ocean Blue line?
The float switch kicks the pump on when water collects on the cover and shuts it off once the level drops to 3/8 inch. The base keeps the pump upright and the intake clear of debris. The mesh pre-filter is reusable, so you rinse it and put it back. This pump fits both above ground and in-ground pools, and it connects to a standard garden hose. If the flow drops, check the filter for leaves before assuming the pump is failing.
