Wall Climbing Pool Cleaner Capability: The Kreepy Krauly Platinum can climb walls. It does this with its front wheel drive and wide heavily treaded tires. But its ability to do so depends on pool shape, surface condition, and available water pressure.

It has problems with sharp 90° floor-to-wall transitions with little radius, tight inside corners, steep sudden transitions, steps, ledges, and complex geometric pool shapes. Also, being that is rated for vinyl and fiberglass pools it has trouble climbing slick surfaces.

Also, important to not that it requires a 3/4 HP booster pump with 50 PSI at 12 GPM to operate correctly.
