Tired of replacing your auto fill valve? Most Pentair autofill canisters include just a toilet-style Fluidmaster valve. The Pentair T40BG swaps in a brass float valve mounted to the side of the canister instead. This changes your plastic autofill arm to a brass one.

The equalizer pipe running to the pool needs to stay straight with no 45 or 90 degree fittings, or the line can air lock.
